As big and hot
as you can get and still find yourself in the good graces of the USGA.
The new Killer Bee Stinger 460 meets the USGA’s regulations for both
size and spring-face effect (or characteristic time) so that golfers
can take full advantage of modern driver design advancements and not
feel guilty about winning long drive competitions.
The Stinger 460’s
super-deep face features a special cup face construction to move the weld
line back from the face. This construction method expands the effective
hitting area beyond that of similarly sized drivers that use conventional
welding techniques. For the golfer, this means drives hit all over the face
will still fly high, long and straight.
Although large, the
Stinger 460 retains a very playable appearance and does not give the bulky
look that many “big” drivers are known for. The metallic black top shell
further aids in trimming the appearance at address, and is accented with a
mirror-polish and glass bead blasting around the skirt and sole perimeter to
give the head a modern, high-tech look.
